Samsung PlayGalaxy Link, Stream Games from PC to Note 10 Phone

Users can stream PC games to their Note 0 phones using a new platform Samsung PlayGalaxy Link. With PlayGalaxy Link, you can play a game on your PC and then, pick up from where you left off on your Note 0 phone.

The process is handled via streaming and thus, Samsung says there will be no need for local storage on the Note. PlayGalaxy Link will go hand-in-hand with the just-announced Galaxy Note 10‘s Game Booster feature, which leverages AI to optimize performance and power consumption depending on the game.

PlayGalaxy is Samsung’s latest shot at getting more heavily involved in mobile gaming, arriving on the heels of the Apple Arcade and Google Stadia announcements. And while the new Note offers a number of hardware features optimized for gaming, it does appear that, as with Microsoft and Google’s offering, the PC is doing the heavy lifting .
